Bellin College of Nursing offers a four-day overnight
Nursing Summer Camp for high school juniors. At the camp, students have
the opportunity to shadow nurses in a variety of different settings,
become CPR certified and learn basic care-giving skills in a learning
resource center.
Students are housed on the
University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus while attending the summer
camp at Bellin College of Nursing.
Students are selected based upon information submitted on the Summer Camp Application and Summer Camp Reference Forms which are available below.

Summer Campers will:
- Shadow nurses at local hospitals
- Visit a variety of hospital settings
- Experience
and practice a number of nursing skills on the Bellin College of
Nursing campus: take vital signs, use Glo-germ for hand washing, put a
cast on your favorite fellow camper!
- Tour an Emergency Room and the Eagle III Emergency Helicopter
- Discover the many opportunities available in the field of nursing
- Earn certification in CPR
- Stay in the residence halls on the UWGB campus
- Learn about college planning
- Meet new friends
- Take home your hospital scrubs & much more!
Students must be in their Junior year of high school during the 2008-2009 school year.
