Admission Requirements
Requirements for Admission to the MSN Program:
- Bachelor's degree with a major in nursing from an accredited school
- Minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse
- Courses in nursing research and statistics (preferably within the last 5 years) at the baccalaureate level or their equivalent
- Three letters of reference
- Written Goal Statement that demonstrates professional writing
- Current resume or curriculum vitae
- Score
of at least 550 (paper form) or 213 (computer form) on the Test of
English as a Foreign Language if first language is not English
- Computer literacy
- Personal interview
- $50 application fee payable to Bellin College of Nursing
An
Intent to Graduate Form is obtained on-line and should be completed
prior to registration for the final semester of enrollment.
A
Master of Science in Nursing degree is awarded from Bellin College of
Nursing at the commencement ceremony conducted each year in the month
of May to students who have met the following criteria:

Completed at least 38 credit hours.

Achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Completed all courses with a grade of C or higher.

Successful completion of the Leadership Integration Project.

Participated in the Student Assessment requirements.
