This collaborative program provides scholarships to nursing students in their junior year of an accredited Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program. Two scholarships in the amount of $2,500 scholarships will be distributed in the Fall and Spring semesters. Scholarships are awarded one-time only to students in either the Fall or Spring semester.
1. Possess a GPA of 3.5 or better.
2. Enrolled full-time as a junior in a baccalaureate program.
SCHOLARSHIPS, INC.
Adult Student Scholarship
Overview: Scholarships, Inc. will now be awarding scholarships for the 2008-2009 academic year. Depending on the availability of funds, awards of up to $3,500 will be made to eligible, college degree-seeking students by the Scholarship Selection Committee.
Eligibility Criteria: 1) Permanent home address at the time of application must be within the boundaries of Brown County, WI; 2) Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate college or university as a matriculated degree-seeking student; 3) Enrolled at least three-quarter time (9 credits or more) per semester; 4) 25 years of age or older at the time of application; 5) Demonstrating financial need; 6) Proven academic achievement.
How to Apply:
1) Complete application and accompanying personal statement and essay questions.
2) Submit the following along with application:
- A copy of ALL pages of your Student Aid Report (SAR).
- Transcripts or records of academic accomplishment in the past 5 years.
- A letter of recommendation from someone who is not a family member.

AfterCollege/AACN Nursing Scholarship Fund
AfterCollege, the leading employment website for nursing/allied health care students and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) have partnered to offer this new scholarship program for students pursuing professional nursing education programs.
This scholarship program supports students who are seeking a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degree in nursing. Special consideration will be given to students:

Who Qualifies?
Nursing students enrolled in a baccalaureate, master’s or doctoral degree program in nursing with a GPA of 3.25 or higher. Scholarships will be in the amount of $2,500. The deadlines for 2008 are January 31, April 30, July 31 and October 31.
Winners will be announced within 60 days of each deadline.

Nursing Scholarship Program
Overview:
The Nursing Scholarship Program (NSP) is a competitive Federal program, which awards scholarships to individuals for attendance at schools of nursing. The scholarship consists of payment for tuition, fees, other reasonable educational costs, and a monthly support stipend. In return, the students agree to provide a minimum of 2 years of full-time clinical service (or an equivalent part-time commitment, as approved by the NSP) at a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses.
**Students who are uncertain of a commitment to provide nursing in a health care facility with a critical shortage of nurses in the United States are advised not to participate in this program.**
Eligible Applicants:
- U.S. citizens or nationals (permanent residents are not eligible)
- enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time or part-time student in an accredited school of nursing in a professional registered nurse program (baccalaureate, graduate, associate degree, or diploma)
- begin classes for the Fall term on or after July 1 and no later than September 30
- free from any Federal judgment liens
- free from existing service commitments
- not delinquent on a Federal debt
